The Toots make Major Scales a "snap" to play. They sit on the train and every place they stop is another major scale. Children can simply play the keys that correspond to the animals. The keys on the slide rule are the same size as piano keys. Place the slide rule behind the piano keyboard, then move the slider at the top.
This slide rule makes all major and minor chords. Made for children, simply move the slide and play the keys under the figures. The piano section of the slide rule is the same size as piano keys and can fit behind them, so that playing any chord becomes a very easy task; just move the slider at the top.
This current book revives many of the games and folk dances in "Popular Folk Games and Dances" by Mari Ruef Hofer. They are arranged with the simpler forms at the beginning and the more difficult movements toward the end.
The book contains over 40 dances and games for children of all ages. Also included are easy piano accompaniments of traditional tunes for the dances. The games and dances are from Europe, America, Russia and Hungary. Suggestions for costumes are also included.
